Designer Events LLC Terms of Service

TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms of service ("Agreement") are entered into between Designer Events LLC ("Planner") and the customer ("Client") for the provision of event planning services as described below.

SERVICES

Designer Events LLC agrees to provide research, design, organization, delivery, and setup services for the Client's event.

CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

The Client agrees to provide an event venue and an empty space inside the venue that measures at least 10x20 square feet for the placement of decorations if delivery is chosen. The Client also agrees to appoint one individual as a decision maker for the party decoration on the day of the event.

PAYMENT

The Client agrees to provide payment for the services described. This payment shall be remitted to the Planner according to the following schedule: A non-refundable 50% of total service cost, based on an estimate, to be paid on the date of the booking confirmation. A non-refundable remainder 50% of the total service cost to be paid two weeks prior to the event.

CANCELLATION

Should the Planner cancel the services for any reason other than acts of God, the Client shall receive a refund of all pre-paid fees, less any expenses incurred on behalf of the event. Should the Client cancel the services after paying the deposit, the following payments shall be non-refundable: Cancellation more than 60 days before the event: 25 percent of the estimated event cost. Cancellation between 15 and 60 days before the event: 50 percent of the estimated event cost. Cancellation less than 15 days before the event: 100 percent of the estimated event cost.

FORCE MAJEURE

This Agreement is automatically canceled if the event is interrupted by an act of God, war, or by strikes.

HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION

The Planner and Client agree to hold one another harmless from negligence and to mutually indemnify.
